Significance of the Expansion
This expansion effectively doubles Flyadeal’s presence in the Pakistani market, which the airline initially entered in February 2025 with flights from Jeddah and Riyadh to Karachi. Notably, the Riyadh—Sialkot route is particularly significant, as it has been unserved since Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) suspended it in 2024. Flyadeal will be the only carrier offering direct service on this route when flights begin on August 26.
Growing Demand for Air Travel
The expansion reflects the increasing demand for air travel between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. In 2024, approximately 5.9 million passengers traveled between the two countries, with seat capacity continuing to rise year over year.
Flyadeal’s new routes are expected to cater to the growing number of travelers, providing more affordable and convenient options for those flying between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
