Motorists are advised to follow road signs and utilize alternative routes, including Street 31 next to the ENOC Petrol Station, the Dubai Science Complex exit, Al Hadaeq Street, and Hessa Street.
The RTA encourages drivers to plan their journeys in advance and depart early to ensure timely arrivals.
This road closure is part of the Umm Suqeim Street Development Project, which was initiated in May 2025 and is currently over 70% complete.
The project, costing approximately Dh332 million, includes the construction of an 800-meter tunnel with four lanes in each direction, as well as upgrades to six key intersections along Umm Suqeim Street.
The development aims to enhance traffic flow along the Umm Suqeim-Al Qudra corridor, which spans a total of 16 kilometers and connects Jumeirah Street to Emirates Road.
The project will also feature four bridges and three tunnels, totaling 4,100 meters in length.
