About the Role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to and attending guest repair requests.
- Communicating with guests and staff to resolve maintenance issues.
- Conducting preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical room equipment.
- Inspecting and troubleshooting tools, machines, and building systems.
- Performing repairs on electrical components, plumbing, lighting, landscaping, and more.
- Maintaining inventory and requisitioning necessary parts and supplies.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, security, and company policies.
- Keeping a professional appearance and providing excellent service to guests and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, painting, and surface preparation. Experience in hotel engineering is a plus.
- License/Certification: A valid driver’s license is required.
- Skills: Basic knowledge in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air conditioning, and related building systems. Basic computer skills are also preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds; ability to climb stairs and ladders; and perform physical tasks as needed.
