The process is available to both UAE citizens and expatriates. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

Required Documents

  1. Original Death Certificate: You need the original and at least two copies.
  2. Identification: A passport or valid Emirates ID of the applicant.

Application Process

You can apply online through the Emirates Health Services (EHS) website:

  1. Log in using your UAE Pass.
  2. Select the “Death Certificate” service.
  3. Click on “Issue of an Authenticated Copy of Death Certificate.”
  4. Fill in the required details, including the deceased’s date of birth and Qaid number.

If you don’t have the Qaid number, you can visit public health centers under EHS, such as the Dubai Public Health Centre in Deira, to request the document in person.

Processing Time and Fees

  • Processing Time: One working day.
  • Fee: Dh10.

Service Hours

  • Online: Available anytime.
  • In-person: Public health centers operate from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, and until 12 PM on Fridays.
