The Technician will respond promptly to guest repair requests and perform a wide range of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as maintaining tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve maintenance issues across guest rooms and hotel facilities.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of equipment.
- Operate shut-off valves and manage maintenance inventory and supplies.
- Perform repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and more.
- Use Lockout/Tagout procedures to ensure safety during repairs.
- Assist with housekeeping and engineering-related duties such as painting, drywall, and light bulb replacement.
- Utilize engineering software for preventative maintenance and energy management.
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially fulfill Engineer on Duty duties.
- Adhere strictly to safety policies and company standards, while delivering exceptional guest service.

Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with vocational/technical training.
- Minimum 2 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience.
- Experience in surface preparation and painting.
- Valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications:
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
- Compliance with all applicable state and federal certifications and licenses.
