HMC Confirms Holiday Readiness with Eid Al-Adha Working Hours Plan

As the joyous occasion of Eid Al Adha approaches, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced its operating hours to ensure that essential healthcare services remain accessible to the community during this festive time.

24/7 Emergency Services

For those facing medical emergencies, HMC’s emergency departments and Ambulance Service will be available around the clock.

This commitment ensures that individuals can seek immediate care without delay. Additionally, Pediatric Emergency Centers will also operate 24/7, catering specifically to children under 14 years old.

Outpatient Clinics Closed

While emergency services will continue seamlessly, all outpatient clinics will close from June 5 to June 9, resuming normal operations on June 10.

Patients with scheduled appointments during this period will receive notifications regarding any changes, allowing them to plan accordingly.

Continuous Support Services

The Nesma’ak 16060 call center and the 16000 Government Healthcare Hotline will remain fully operational, providing uninterrupted support.

However, the Urgent Consultation Service and Pharmacy Home Delivery Service will be temporarily unavailable from June 5, reopening on June 10 to assist patients once again.

Mental Health and Nutritional Support

HMC emphasizes the importance of mental health during festive times. The National Mental Health Helpline will maintain its regular hours from 8 AM to 6 PM, Saturday to Thursday, ensuring that support is readily available.

Meanwhile, Therapeutic Dietetics and Nutrition Services will be accessible on June 5 from 7 AM to 12 PM, closing for the first day of Eid but resuming limited hours thereafter.

Blood Donation Services

For those wishing to contribute to their community, the Qatar National Blood Donation Center will be open on June 5 from 7 AM to 10 PM. It will close on June 6 and 7, reopening on June 8 and 9 from 8 AM to 8 PM, encouraging donations during this critical time.
