UAE Jobs: 85% of Employees Report Well-Being at Work

A recent survey by Mercer Marsh Benefits shows that a significant 85% of employees in the UAE report feeling both physically and mentally well in their workplaces.
The findings highlight that 64% believe their employers actively promote a healthy work-life balance, while 58% feel their organizations genuinely care about their well-being.

The 2025 Health on Demand report indicates that 68% of employees are thriving in their current roles, and 79% feel confident in their ability to afford necessary healthcare for themselves and their families.
Despite these positive outcomes, challenges persist, with 48% of employees expressing stress on most days and 58% actively seeking new job opportunities.
Adel Alderi, Senior Consultant at Mercer Marsh Benefits, noted that while employees feel well-supported, there are gaps in personalized workplace benefits.
Many employees expressed a desire for more flexible schedules, with 50% stating that options like compressed workweeks would be beneficial, although only 33% currently have access to such arrangements.
The survey, which included over 18,000 participants across 17 markets, emphasizes the need for employers to align their benefits strategies with the evolving expectations of a diverse workforce.
