Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory of uniforms, linens, and laundry supplies.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery.
- Train and supervise laundry staff on procedures, safety, and equipment use.
- Inspect linens and terry for damage, ensuring quality standards.
- Assist management with hiring, scheduling, evaluating, and motivating employees.
- Maintain a safe work environment by reporting hazards and completing safety training.
- Uphold professional standards in appearance, communication, and confidentiality.
- Implement improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and cost savings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
