Municipality Announces Major Government Vehicle Auction in Qatar
The Ministry of Municipality has announced a large-scale public auction involving 288 decommissioned government vehicles and equipment, set to take place from June 16 to 19, 2025, at the Al Wakrah Municipality Theatre.
This initiative forms part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to streamline resource management and enhance public-sector transparency through regulated asset disposal.

Major Auction of Government Assets
The auction will offer a wide range of items previously used in municipal operations, including light and heavy vehicles, trailers, and various utility equipment.
These assets have reached the end of their service life within government use and will now be made available for public acquisition through a formal bidding process.
The auction is open to individuals and businesses, offering an opportunity to acquire municipal-grade vehicles and equipment at competitive prices.

Auction Schedule and Location
- Dates: June 16–19, 2025
- Auction Venue: Al Wakrah Municipality Theatre
- Start Time: Daily from 3:30 PM until completion
- Inspection Site: Ministry of Municipality’s vehicle yard (Scrap Al-Mashaf), Wadi Aba Saleel
- Inspection Hours: Daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Official Terms and Conditions
The Ministry has outlined the following terms and conditions for public participation:
- Registration: Interested individuals must obtain an auction participation card at the auction venue prior to placing bids.
- Payment Policy: Upon winning a bid, the participant must pay 20% of the sale price immediately via electronic payment (credit card). The remaining 80% must be settled within two working days from the date of sale.
- Asset Condition: Each vehicle or equipment unit will be sold individually and strictly in its existing condition, as verified at the inspection yard. The inspection is considered final and binding; post-sale complaints or returns will not be accepted.
- Information Access: Full details, including a comprehensive list of items and auction rules, will be published in a local newspaper advertisement on June 12, 2025.
