King Salman Hosts 1,000 Hajj Pilgrims from Affected Palestinian Families

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, has directed the hosting of 1,000 pilgrims from the families of martyrs, prisoners, and the wounded among the Palestinian people for this year’s Hajj.

This initiative will be funded at the King’s own expense and is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.

• Gratitude Expressed: Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, expressed appreciation for the King’s and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s generosity, noting it reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and fostering Islamic brotherhood.

• Historical Context: Since its inception in 1417 AH, the program has hosted over 64,000 pilgrims from various countries, demonstrating Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to serve Islam and reinforce its status as the heart of the Islamic world.

This initiative highlights the Kingdom’s dedication to facilitating the performance of Hajj rituals for Palestinians and supporting them during challenging times.
