Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and repair refrigeration systems, including freezers, chillers, and HVAC units.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and replace defective components.
- Maintain logs for repairs and refrigerant usage.
- Install new systems as needed and assist with energy conservation initiatives.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and coordinate with contractors for major repairs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in hospitality.
- Knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment.
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants (if required).
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
