Hamdan bin Mohammed Unveils ‘MyDubai Communities’ Digital Platform
Dubai, April 3, 2025 – His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has officially launched the ‘MyDubai Communities’ digital platform, aimed at enhancing community engagement among citizens, residents, and visitors.
This initiative builds upon the success of the #MyDubai campaign, which was introduced in 2014 to celebrate the diverse experiences of people in the emirate.

The platform offers access to approximately 100 interest-based communities, allowing users to explore a variety of activities and connect with like-minded individuals.
It is designed to foster inclusivity and strengthen community bonds, aligning with the UAE’s celebration of 2025 as the Year of Community.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that the true measure of a city’s success lies not only in its infrastructure but also in the strength of its community.
He stated that Dubai’s vision prioritizes the happiness and well-being of its people, aiming to solidify its status as one of the world’s leading cities.
The MyDubai Communities platform, accessible at mydubaicommunities.com, integrates various social media channels to unite diverse groups—from cultural and arts enthusiasts to sports and wellness advocates.
This initiative supports the Dubai Social Agenda 33, which seeks to enhance the quality of life and community experiences in the city.
His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, noted that the platform serves as a vital tool for fostering a sense of belonging and engagement among Dubai’s multicultural population.
With a user-friendly design, MyDubai Communities enables users to easily discover events and activities tailored to their interests, promoting an enriching environment for all.
