UAE Launches Safety and Security Association for Community Preparedness

Sharjah, UAE: The UAE has announced the creation of its first association dedicated to safety, security, and community service, named the “Safety and Emergency Security Association.”
This initiative aims to enhance community preparedness and is part of the Ministry of Community Empowerment’s efforts to strengthen the third sector linked to citizens.

Based in Sharjah, the association will gather specialized national professionals with extensive experience in safety and emergency services.
It will focus on promoting teamwork and shared responsibility across various sectors to enhance prevention measures and empower community members.
The association will carry out awareness campaigns and sustainable activities tailored to different segments of society, fostering a better understanding of safety concepts and prevention strategies among individuals of all ages.
Additionally, it will provide specialized training programs to develop essential skills in safety and emergency services.
In line with the national initiative themed “Hand in Hand,” which celebrates the ‘Year of Community,’ the association aims to reinforce community ties, cooperation, and a sense of belonging while preserving cultural heritage.
This strategic partnership will also involve collaboration with government, academic, and private sectors, further supporting the community’s readiness for various emergencies as part of the UAE’s commitment to enhancing public safety and security.
