Saudi Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka Draws Over One Million Visitors

Saudi Arabia’s pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has attracted over one million visitors just two months after its official opening on April 13. Since then, the pavilion has hosted more than 1,137 events across the Expo site.

Significance of the Achievement
Dr. Ghazi Binzagr, Saudi Ambassador to Japan and Commissioner General of the Kingdom’s Pavilion, described this milestone as a testament to Saudi Arabia’s transformative journey under Vision 2030. He emphasized the pavilion’s role in promoting cultural exchange and showcasing the Kingdom’s rich heritage.

Diplomatic Ties
Dr. Binzagr highlighted that Saudi Arabia’s participation in Expo 2025 reinforces the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and Japan, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations. The pavilion aims to inspire visitors by illustrating the Kingdom’s advancements and ambitions on the global stage.
Pavilion Features
As the second-largest pavilion at the event, following Japan, the Saudi structure is built with lightweight Saudi stone and features a unique design that offers a spatial journey through cities across the Kingdom. Visitors can explore seven immersive rooms that cover themes such as:
- Future cities
- Sustainable oceans
- Human potential
- Groundbreaking innovation
This engaging exhibit provides valuable insights into Saudi Arabia’s growing global influence and aspirations, serving as a precursor to Expo 2030 Riyadh.
