Under the general direction, Warehouse Assistant storekeeper are responsible to assist material controllers/supervisors to perform a full range of duties in order to manage the functions of the Material Warehouse which includes but is not limited to receiving, processing, preservation, packing, storing and issuing of Materials / Spares related to Oil & Gas industry.

Safe handling of Materials (Loading & Unloading) by following the safety measures and ensuring the Materials are received/shipped in well-packed condition. Responsible to follow and adhere to the safe packing and unpacking methods of materials.
Assist in inspecting the inbound & outbound Materials and preserve the Materials as appropriate and ensure the proper labeling/identification methods are followed.
Shall be able to determine Packing and preservation requirements for the Materials based on the type & condition by following the industrial standards.
Ensure materials are properly placed as per the defined location to ensure real-time availability and maintain accuracy.
Knowledge & experience in understanding the Hazard Chemicals labeling, Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), Expiry & Batch information to follow FIFO mechanism.
Carry out duties in strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
Maintain good housekeeping to ensure the workplace are free from hazards. Daily inspection of Material Handling equipment and report any unsafe condition if noted.
Well-versed experience in operating Material Handling Equipment in a safe manner with a valid Qatar License.

Diploma or equivalent in technical disciplines from a recognized university/board.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Material Management and Warehouse Operations out of which a minimum of 3 years in the Oil & Gas sector.
Shall be Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge/experience in any Warehouse Management System (WMS), SAP is preferred.
Operate Forklift with a valid Qatar Forklift license.
