The newly eligible categories include:
- Educators: Outstanding teachers and educators can now apply for the Golden Visa, recognizing their contributions to the educational sector.
- Nurses: In honor of their dedication, nurses with over 15 years of service in Dubai can now obtain a long-term visa.
- Luxury Yacht Owners and Maritime Executives: The ‘Golden Quay’ initiative allows yacht owners with vessels measuring 40 meters or more, as well as maritime professionals, to apply.
- Gaming Professionals and eSports Talent: This category aims to position Dubai as a leading destination for gaming, allowing professionals in this sector to self-sponsor.
- Religious Scholars and Imams: Those who have served in religious capacities for over 20 years in Dubai are eligible for the Golden Visa.
- Content Creators and Influencers: The visa now extends to social media influencers and digital content creators, supporting the creative industry.
- Environmental Advocates: The new Blue Visa is designed for individuals making significant contributions to environmental protection and sustainability.
These additions reflect the UAE’s commitment to fostering a diverse and skilled workforce, enabling visa holders to live, work, and study without the need for a local sponsor.
