- Permits Issued: In 2024, a total of 8,074 Premium Residency permits were granted.
- Exceptional Competence: 5,578 permits

Expansion of Categories
The Kingdom expanded the scope of the Premium Residency program in early 2024, increasing the categories from two to seven:
- Exceptional Competence
- Talent
- Business Investor
- Entrepreneur
- Real Estate Owner
- Limited Duration Premium Residency
- Unlimited Duration Premium Residency
This expansion is part of broader reforms aimed at allowing high-value individuals to live, work, and invest in Saudi Arabia without a sponsor.

- Usufruct rights to properties in Makkah and Madinah for up to 99 years.
