This closure is necessary for the construction of a temporary bridge, as confirmed by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure in coordination with the Sharjah Police.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance and follow posted detour signs to ensure smooth travel during this period. Traffic patrols and signage will be in place to facilitate safe movement.
The Etihad Rail Project aims to create a national railway network connecting all seven emirates, reducing road congestion and carbon emissions while enhancing transportation efficiency across the UAE.
