The Golden Visa is available for either five or ten years, depending on the individual’s category, and is renewable as long as all conditions are met.
One of its key benefits is that holders can stay outside the UAE for more than six months without affecting their residency status. Additionally, Golden Visa holders can sponsor their family members and an unlimited number of domestic helpers.
To apply for a Golden Visa nomination, candidates must follow a streamlined process via the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) website.
Steps include selecting the Golden Visa service, choosing between options for applicants inside or outside the UAE, and submitting necessary documentation.
The application incurs fees totaling approximately Dh150, including e-services and smart services fees. It’s crucial to complete the application within 30 days to avoid automatic rejection due to incomplete data.
For further guidance, applicants can refer to the ICP smart services for detailed requirements and procedures.
