Saudi Arabia’s Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has officially launched its operational plan for the 1447 AH Umrah season.

Phases of Implementation

The eight-month plan will unfold in three distinct phases, running until the end of Sha’ban 1447 AH. After this period, a separate operational plan for Ramadan will be initiated.

Important Dates

  • June 10: Resumption of issuing Umrah visas.
  • June 11: Start of Nusuk permit applications.
  • First of Sha’ban: Deadline for approving contracts between Umrah companies and overseas agents.
  • First of Shawwal: Last date for issuing Umrah visas.
  • 15th of Shawwal: Final entry date for pilgrims.
  • First of Dhul Qi’dah: All pilgrims must depart the Kingdom by this date.
