Key Guidelines for Visitors

Entry Etiquette

  • Right Foot First: Visitors should enter the mosque with their right foot.
  • Traditional Supplication: A prescribed supplication for entering sacred spaces should be recited upon entry.

Conduct Inside the Mosque

  • Maintain Calmness: Visitors are urged to lower their voices and behave respectfully to avoid disturbing others.
  • Extend Greetings: As visitors pass the sacred chamber, they are encouraged to extend peaceful salutations to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions Abu Bakr and Umar.

Exiting the Mosque

  • Left Foot First: When leaving, it is recommended to exit with the left foot.
  • Supplication for Departure: Visitors should recite the traditional supplication for exiting sacred spaces.
