‘Color Your Summer’ Program Reflects Saudi Diversity

The Saudi Tourism Authority has launched the “Color Your Summer” program, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s rich natural and cultural diversity.
This initiative will run until the end of September and aims to attract over 41 million visitors from within and outside the Kingdom, with projected tourism spending exceeding SR73 billion ($19.47 billion).

Key Features of the Program
Destinations and Activities
The program will be hosted in six main destinations, blending adventure with relaxation:
- Asir:
- Features a Summer Season with musical, artistic, and cultural events.
- Highlights include Al-Muftaha Village and the Plato Event.
- Offers adventure trails and outdoor activities amid scenic mountains.
- Riyadh:
- Hosts the second Esports World Cup from July 8 to August 24.
- A hub for artistic and cultural events and entertainment shows throughout the summer.
- Jeddah:
- Welcomes visitors with new beaches and luxury resorts.
- Offers diverse marine activities and family-friendly events, including City Walk and circus performances.
- Sheybarah and Ummahat Islands:
- Part of the luxury tourism network featuring white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant coral reefs.
- Taif:
- Greets visitors with refreshing breezes and blooming Taif roses in Arruddaf Park.
- Offers experiences in traditional markets and lush orchards, along with the mystical aura of Al-Shafa and Al-Hada mountains.
- Baha:
- Showcases stunning natural beauty, from mountaintops to valley depths in Raghadan Forest.

Partnerships and Connectivity
The STA has partnered with Jazeera Airways to facilitate direct flights from Kuwait to Asir three times a week from July 15 until the end of September. This partnership aims to bolster the airline’s presence in Saudi Arabia and promote summer destinations.
The “Color Your Summer” program is set to enhance Saudi Arabia’s appeal as a tourist destination, offering a wide range of activities and experiences that reflect the Kingdom’s diverse landscape and cultural heritage.
With significant visitor targets and substantial projected spending, the initiative underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to expanding its tourism sector.
