Madinah Completes Preparations to Receive Pilgrims via Bus and Train After Hajj
Gulf Trick
Government authorities in Madinah have finalized preparations to welcome the influx of pilgrims visiting the Prophet’s Mosque following the completion of their Hajj rituals.
These coordinated efforts aim to ensure a seamless and spiritually enriching experience for pilgrims.
Under the direct supervision of Prince Salman bin Sultan, Emir of the Madinah Region and Chairman of the Hajj and Visitation Committee, relevant agencies are executing comprehensive operational plans tailored for the post-Hajj season.
Arrival of Pilgrims
The first groups of returning pilgrims are expected to arrive on Sunday evening, Dhul Hijjah 12, via bus and the Haramain High-Speed Train.
Authorities are actively monitoring field operations to ensure smooth traffic flow on key routes, including the Hijrah Expressway.
Precautionary measures have been implemented to maintain security and traffic fluidity along the Qassim and Tabuk roads leading into Madinah.
Mosque Preparations
Facilities and Access
The General Authority for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque has launched an integrated plan to prepare the mosque and its facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pilgrims.
A total of 141 mosque doors will be opened to accommodate male and female pilgrims, with 100 designated pathways staffed by spatial guidance teams to help organize movement within the mosque complex.
Access to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif
Special arrangements have been made for access to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif, with entry regulated through pre-booked appointments via official applications. This ensures adherence to crowd capacity and provides a smoother experience for visitors.
Informational digital screens will guide pilgrims through designated entry points, while Zamzam water bottles will be distributed to enhance their spiritual visit.
These efforts aim to facilitate voluntary prayers in Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif, allowing as many pilgrims as possible to offer greetings to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions.
