Trains will reach speeds of up to 200 km/h, significantly reducing travel times between major hubs such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Fujairah.
The network is designed to cover approximately 1,200 km, with key stops including Al Ruwais, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah.
The first passenger station will be situated in Sakamkam, Fujairah, with additional stations planned near the University City of Sharjah and possibly near Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai.

In Abu Dhabi, the station will likely be located between Dalma Mall and the Mussafah bus station.
Moreover, a high-speed rail link between Abu Dhabi and Dubai is in the works, aiming to cut travel time to just 30 minutes. This line will connect popular destinations and enhance regional connectivity.
Etihad Rail is also collaborating with Oman to establish the Hafeet Rail project, which will connect Sohar in Oman to Al Wathba in Abu Dhabi, further expanding travel options between the two countries.
With modern amenities and a capacity for up to 400 passengers, the trains will feature Wi-Fi, entertainment systems, and charging points. The integration of the nol card system will also streamline fare payments for travelers.
As the UAE prepares for this major transportation shift, residents and visitors alike can look forward to a more connected future.
