Dubai has launched a new feature allowing users to personalize their silver nol cards by linking them to their Emirates ID through the ‘nol Pay’ app.

This update promises to enhance user experience and provides numerous advantages, including shopping vouchers and the ability to recover balances if the card is lost or stolen.

Personalized cards earn users points at a rate of one point for every Dh1 spent, compared to Dh2 for unregistered cards, effectively doubling potential rewards.

To personalize a silver or gold nol card, users can follow a simple procedure in the ‘nol Pay’ app, available on Apple, Android, and Huawei devices, with a nominal fee of Dh30.

In the unfortunate event a personalized card is lost or stolen, users can quickly block it and recover their balance by contacting RTA customer service.

This seamless integration aims to improve public transport efficiency and provide added value for commuters in Dubai.
