Key Responsibilities:

• Attend to guest repair requests and resolve plumbing and maintenance issues efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines to ensure proper functioning.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed.
• Perform minor repairs including surface preparation, painting, drywall, and wood trim.
• Test and troubleshoot plumbing systems, unclog drains, and repair toilets.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures before maintenance work.
• Handle landscaping sprinkler repairs and general housekeeping duties.
• Use basic computer skills for scheduling and temperature control adjustments.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members while maintaining professionalism.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance and surface preparation.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
