Those who overstay their visas may face:
- A fine of up to SR50,000
- Imprisonment for up to six months
- Deportation from the Kingdom

The ministry emphasizes the necessity for all individuals to adhere to the official Hajj and Umrah guidelines and instructions.
It is crucial to note that all visa types, except for the Hajj visa, do not permit holders to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.

Reporting Violations
The ministry encourages the public to report any violations of Hajj regulations by contacting:
- 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province
- 999 in other regions

Additionally, the ministry has introduced a maximum fine of SR100,000 for Hajj and Umrah service providers that fail to report any pilgrim who has overstayed their visa.
