Riyadh Announces Eid Al-Adha Operating Hours for Metro and Buses

Riyadh’s public transport system has released the operating hours for the Eid Al-Adha holiday, detailing changes for both the Riyadh Metro and city buses.

Metro Operating Hours

• Unified End Time: Train services will end at 12 midnight across all lines.
• Orange Line:
  • Operates from 10 a.m. to midnight from June 5 to June 14 (Dhul Hijjah 9 to 18).
  • Returns to the regular schedule starting at 6 a.m. on June 15.

Other Metro Lines

• June 5: Services begin at 8 a.m.
• June 6 to June 8: Start time shifts to 10 a.m.
• June 9 to June 11: Start time reverts to 8 a.m.
• Regular operations resume with a 6 a.m. start on June 12.

Bus Services

• Daily Operations: Buses will run from 5 a.m. to midnight during the period from June 5 to June 12.
• On-Demand Buses: Available to accommodate increased holiday travel needs.
