Since the beginning of Ramadan, the average daily passenger count has exceeded 39,000, highlighting the growing demand for this rapid transit option between Jeddah, Makkah, and Madinah.
In response to the increased demand, the Saudi Railways Company (SAR) has ramped up operations to accommodate up to 130 trips per day during the last ten days of Ramadan.
The operational plan for Ramadan includes providing 1.6 million seats across more than 3,400 trips on the Haramain Train. This represents a 21% increase in the number of trips and an 18% increase in seating capacity compared to the previous year.

The Haramain High-Speed Railway, which operates on a 453-kilometer electric line, is one of the fastest trains in the world, reaching speeds of up to 300 km/h.
It serves as a vital transportation link for pilgrims throughout the year, connecting major destinations including King Abdulaziz International Airport and King Abdullah Economic City.
