This full-time position plays a crucial role in maintaining the hotel’s electrical systems and ensuring a safe and efficient environment for guests.
Responsibilities
- Consistently offer professional, engaging, and friendly service to guests.
- Communicate with Engineering Management and Team Leader to improve efficiency and address any issues.
- Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance programs for various systems of accommodation.
- Coordinate with Engineering Management and Team Leader to inform them about any disruptions to be serviced.
- Utilize safe work practices, efficient methods, proper preventative maintenance, and repair to equipment.
- Clean and maintain areas of responsibility according to set standards and procedures.

Qualifications
- Previous experience is an asset.
- High School graduate, related technical or trades certification.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a service technician, preferably in the hospitality or hospital industry.
- Proficient in MV/LV repair and maintenance plus basic knowledge of one other building operations skill set.
- Ability to use all general repair tools, read shop drawings and specifications, make rough estimates of required materials.
