Following an attack by Iran on Qatar’s Al Udeid US military base, which escalated regional tensions, Emirates activated its contingency plans swiftly.

The airline confirmed that, while there were a few cancellations and some flights had to take longer routes due to airspace congestion, there were no diversions.

Despite the volatile situation, Emirates maintained its extensive network, emphasizing that it prioritizes the safety of its passengers and crew. Services to Amman and Beirut, which were temporarily suspended, have now also resumed.

As the UAE approaches the busy summer travel season, Emirates continues to monitor developments closely and is prepared to adapt to any ongoing challenges, ensuring uninterrupted operations and safety for travelers.
