Job Purpose

Supporting the NOC Duty Manager; and, managing, monitoring and controlling the daily network operations in the company’s Network Operational Control (NOC) according to published company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The NOC Officer is responsible to coordinate with Flight Dispatchers, Crew Controllers, Maintenance _Controllers and Ground Ops to ensure regulatory and technical issues are well coordinated and clearly disseminated to the Duty NOC Manager and Senior Network Control Manager.
_Continually monitor and take proactive actions to avoid or minimize disruptions to flight schedules during DOPS , window + 72Hrs.


_Ensure a safe and secure operation.
_Coordination of the daily flying operation
a.Monitor Airports, Weather and availability of aircraft and crew
b.Maintain continual and open communications with GOPS/Station reps
c.Maintain AIMS up to date on actual data’s including the amount of delays & reason if any
d.Communicate with Flight Watch any details that may impact the running flight schedule


e.Consult with MCC regarding fleet limitations and planned maintenance events prior to tail allocation
f.Clear communication channel with Crewing Officers regarding any changes to duty times through operational disruption;
g.Prepare a daily handover, maintain daily operations log


_Communication and disruption management – under direction of NOC Duty Manager
_Compliance and emergency response- assist as directed by the NOC Duty Manager
_Ensure compliance with all applicable business and industry specific regulations and legislative requirements, as prescribed in the NOC (OCCM) and Operational Manuals
_Reporting and project management
_Undertake other tasks assigned by Senior Network Control Manager

Job Requirements

_Minimum 03 Years of relevant working experienced
_Experience in a Airline Ops System (AIMS);
_Knowledge of Crewing and Aircraft Scheduling


_Knowledge of GACAR Regulations Part 119 and 121
_Knowledge of Flight Planning requirements is essential
_Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Schedule is an advantage
_Knowledge of Ground Operations is an advantage


_Solid experience in an operational role within a medium size or Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) airline;
_Knowledge and experience in the requirements of industry and regulatory compliance matters.
_Well-developed problem-solving capability.
_Extremely well organized.
_Remains calm and focused under pressure.
_A strong communicator.


_Ability to work as part of a team.
_Strong analytical capability.
_When dealing with disruption, ability to factor passenger welfare into decision making process.
