The resort is seeking a skilled Electrician to join its Engineering & Facilities team. This full-time position plays a key role in maintaining the resort’s high operational standards and ensuring a flawless guest experience through timely and professional electrical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to guest repair requests and troubleshoot maintenance issues with professionalism.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment within kitchen and mechanical areas, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, machines, and equipment to ensure operational safety.
  • Carry tools and radios to enable efficient mobile response across the resort.
  • Locate and operate shut-off valves for equipment and essential utilities.
  • Manage maintenance inventories and requisition parts and supplies as required.
  • Communicate daily activities and any issues to other shifts using established communication procedures.
  • Apply or acquire foundational knowledge in multiple technical areas, including air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, electronic controls, and energy conservation.
  • Perform surface preparation tasks such as minor painting, drywall repair, wood-trim work, and light bulb or A/C filter replacement—ensuring tidy post-work cleanup.

  • Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment including plumbing fixtures, lamps, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, and internet devices; replace switches and outlets.
  • Program televisions and assist with general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory operations.
  • Adhere strictly to Lockout/Tagout safety procedures before performing maintenance work.
  • Maintain both interior and exterior landscaping components, including sprinkler systems.
  • Use computers to adjust air-handler schedules and temperature controls.
  • Follow all safety, security, and operational protocols—reporting hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly.
  • Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor; maintain confidentiality and safeguard company assets.
  • Welcome guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and deliver service with genuine appreciation.
  • Foster positive working relationships, support team objectives, and communicate clearly in a collaborative environment.
  • Safely move and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs; navigate stairs, ramps, and ladders during routine duties.
  • Adapt to additional reasonable tasks as needed to support the resort’s operations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in general building maintenance, electrical systems, or hotel engineering environments.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols such as Lockout/Tagout.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, remaining attentive to detail and guest well-being.
