Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients—portion, chop, store, and wash fresh produce; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes.
- Cook a variety of dishes, including cold foods, utilizing ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, and microwaves; assess doneness and quality.
- Set up and break down the workstation; monitor food quality and ensure proper food temperature.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen tools, equipment, knives, surfaces, and the work environment.
- Comply with safety, security, and company policies; report maintenance issues, injuries, or unsafe conditions promptly.
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; communicate clearly and effectively.
- Build positive working relationships and support team objectives.
- Work extended shifts while standing, sitting, or walking; reach, bend, twist, lift, and move items up to 25 lbs safely.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific licenses or certifications needed.
