  • Sharp Tools: Hammers, screwdrivers, and scissors with blades longer than 6 cm are strictly prohibited.
  • Weapons: Firearms, swords, and martial arts weapons cannot be taken on board.
  • Flammable Items: Lighters are limited to one per passenger, while items like gasoline and flammable gases are completely banned.

Sharjah Airport enforces even stricter rules, prohibiting items like:

  • Explosives and Ammunition: Fireworks and any weapon capable of discharging a projectile are not allowed.
  • Chemical Agents: Hazardous materials, including certain acids and toxic substances, are banned to prevent potential threats.

Restrictions on Carry-On Items

While some items are allowed, they come with significant restrictions:

  • Liquids: Passengers are limited to containers of 100ml, with a total of up to 1 liter across ten containers. These must be placed in a clear, resealable plastic bag for security checks.
  • Power Banks: Allowed only if they do not exceed 100Wh. Devices over 160Wh require prior approval from the airline.
