The initiative will focus on key areas such as speeding, red-light violations, and illegal turns, while also modernizing investigative methods.
Mohammed AlMheiri, Chief Business Officer of Presight, noted that the partnership will aim to improve emergency response times, reduce crime rates, and enhance real-time threat detection.
The AI-Policing Suite, a central component of this collaboration, will integrate generative AI and advanced data analytics to provide officers with faster and more precise policing capabilities.
This includes a traffic control module for real-time monitoring and a law enforcement platform with over 150 AI models for intelligent profiling and predictive analytics.
Major-General Nasir Sultan Al Yabhouni of Abu Dhabi Police emphasized that this innovation supports public safety efforts and enhances officers’ decision-making capabilities.
The AI systems will be implemented in phases, focusing on specific use cases for refinement, while ensuring compliance with UAE data privacy regulations.
This initiative builds on the existing AI technologies already in use by Abu Dhabi Police, which have previously contributed to a reduction in traffic violations.
