As a Technician at Andaz Doha, you will be responsible for carrying out various engineering and maintenance tasks to ensure that the hotel’s facilities are maintained to a high level and exceed guest expectations.
Key duties:
- Performing repairs and maintenance in guest bedrooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
- Conducting general repairs and maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, fire protection, carpentry, and plumbing
- Completing planned preventive maintenance within the plant rooms, bedrooms, and public areas
- Regularly inspecting the entire building, with particular attention to safety features and monitoring the condition of all operating equipment
- Working closely with the security team to oversee Health & Safety
Requirements:
- Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management (desirable)
- Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Technician/Tradesman in a hotel, or 4 years in a similar large building/complex with central plant
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
