Emirates Group Announces 17,300 Job Openings in Dubai

In an ambitious move to expand its workforce, Dubai’s Emirates Group has announced the creation of 17,300 new job positions across various sectors, equivalent to the population of a mid-sized town.

This significant recruitment initiative aims to bolster the group’s operations, including Emirates Airline and dnata, and comes as a response to the growing demand for talent in the aviation industry.

The recruitment drive focuses on a wide range of roles, with hundreds of positions available for cabin crew, pilots, engineers, and professionals in customer service, ground handling, catering, IT, HR, and finance.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, emphasized the need for “world-class talent” to fuel the company’s ambitious growth plans and commitment to innovation.

Since 2022, the Emirates Group has successfully onboarded over 41,000 talented professionals, significantly enhancing its operational capabilities.

Currently, the group employs a workforce of 121,000 individuals, demonstrating its status as a leading employer in the region.

To attract the best candidates, Emirates Group plans to host more than 2,100 open days and recruitment events in 150 cities worldwide, including initiatives tailored for UAE national students and graduates.

Notably, dnata alone is seeking to hire over 4,000 specialists in cargo, catering, and ground handling.

The recruitment drive has already garnered significant interest, with the group reporting over 3.7 million applications across its various brands and departments.

Candidates are drawn to the company’s global reputation, competitive tax-free salaries, and comprehensive benefits, which include profit-sharing eligibility, medical coverage, and extensive travel perks.
