Position Overview
In the role of Plumber, the selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems essential for water distribution and wastewater disposal. Adherence to relevant plumbing codes and standards is a key aspect of this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure the operation of all automatic flushing valves.
- Clean and maintain fat traps in kitchen areas to prevent blockages.
- Conduct regular maintenance and employ appropriate chemicals for cleaning soil and stack pipes.
- Ensure that roof-level ventilation vent pipes and rainwater outlets are kept clear.
- Review building plans and specifications to determine plumbing layouts and necessary materials.
- Identify tools and special equipment for plumbing tasks and select the appropriate pipe types and sizes.
- Accurately locate and mark positions for plumbing connections and fixtures.
- Install supports and hangers for pipes, fixtures, and equipment.
- Install, repair, and maintain underground storm sanitary and water piping systems, including sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, and conditioners.
Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of an apprenticeship in plumbing is preferred.
- Previous experience in a plumbing role is essential.
- Ability to work in accordance with established policies and regulations.
- Good physical condition to perform the required tasks.
- Proficiency in English and the ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues effectively.
