UAE: New Bridge Intersection Opens in Ajman to Alleviate Traffic Congestion

Ajman: The General Command of Ajman Police, in collaboration with the Municipality and Planning Department, has officially inaugurated the Al Khor Bridge intersection on Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Street.
This significant development aims to enhance the emirate’s transportation infrastructure, improving road safety and easing traffic along one of Ajman’s critical corridors.

The opening ceremony was attended by Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al Kaabi, Head of the City Comprehensive Police Station, and Engineer Abdullah Al Awadhi, Director of the Roads and Infrastructure Department, among other officials.

Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid bin Hindi, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, highlighted the intersection’s positive impact on traffic flow, particularly during peak hours.
He commended the engineering teams for their high-quality work, reaffirming Ajman Police’s commitment to urban development aligned with Ajman Vision 2030.
Equipped with advanced traffic monitoring and control technologies, the new bridge is set to enhance safety and improve the quality of life for residents in Ajman.
