Key Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and ice machines.
- Conduct regular inspections and servicing to prevent equipment breakdowns.
- Utilize a work order management system to track and complete maintenance requests efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other maintenance personnel to resolve equipment issues.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair calls, including after-hours requests.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and inventory of spare parts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial kitchen repair and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
- Proficient in soldering, brazing, and plumbing repair.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong safety-conscious mindset and adherence to health regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
