5 Bangladeshi and Sudanese nationals arrested for promoting fake Hajj campaign

In Khamis Mushayt, located in the Asir region, authorities have arrested five expatriates, including nationals from Bangladesh and Sudan, for their involvement in a fraudulent Hajj campaign.

- Fraudulent Activities: The individuals were part of a gang that posted misleading advertisements on social media, claiming to offer housing and transportation for pilgrims within the holy sites in Makkah.
- Legal Action: The Khamis Mushayt police have taken the necessary legal measures and referred the suspects to the Public Prosecution.
- Public Security Reminder: Authorities have urged both citizens and expatriates to adhere to Hajj regulations and report any violations. Citizens can call 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in other regions of the Kingdom.
