How to Travel Cheaply from UAE to Saudi Arabia: Take a daily bus for just AED 140!

Residents and visitors in the UAE now have an affordable travel option to Saudi Arabia through daily bus services operated by the Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO).

With one-way fares to both Riyadh and Dammam priced at just AED 140, this service is a practical alternative to flying, especially for those without access to a car or driving license.

Buses depart from major cities including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ajman, with typical departure times between 2 PM and 3 PM.

The journey takes approximately 15 to 18 hours, depending on various factors such as traffic and border crossing times.

Passengers are required to present a valid passport, Emirates ID, and an official copy of their Saudi eVisa at the Al Batha border crossing. Each traveler is allowed luggage up to 50 kg, with additional charges for excess weight.

Tickets can be purchased by contacting Belad Al Sham Passenger Transport, the official ticketing agent in the UAE, or directly at their branches during office hours.

This new travel option promises a budget-friendly way for many to explore Saudi Arabia.
