Ministry of Transport launches a new mobile app

The Ministry of Transport (MOT) in Qatar has introduced a new mobile application, “Darb,” designed to enhance access to its digital services anytime and anywhere.
The app currently offers a range of maritime transportation services, focusing on small craft transactions.

Users can register new jet skis or small crafts, renew registration licenses, modify specifications, replace lost or damaged licenses, delete crafts, obtain ownership sequence certificates, and manage mortgage applications or releases for small crafts.
“Darb” also features notifications to update users on their application statuses and allows them to request maritime vessel cards via Qatar Post.

Additionally, the app provides direct communication channels with the MOT team through a “Contact Us” page, helpline (16016), or email (info@mot.gov.qa). Users can access MOT news and events through the app and visit its official website.
Future updates will expand “Darb” to include services related to seafarers’ affairs and land transportation licensing.
This initiative aligns with the MOT’s efforts to modernize Qatar’s transportation sector, streamline services, and improve user satisfaction by leveraging technological advancements. The app is available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
