The police cautioned the public against contacting the numbers listed on these massage cards, as doing so could lead to risks such as theft or extortion from those engaged in these illicit activities.

Dubai Police confirmed that the General Department of Criminal Investigation has established a dedicated team to receive reports concerning negative practices related to massage cards, operating 24/7.

“This initiative underscores our commitment to community protection and safety in the emirate while addressing these issues,” stated Dubai Police, who also praised community members for their active reporting of such practices.

These cards typically promote mostly unlicensed and illegal massage services, often featuring inappropriate images of women and actresses.

Despite previous confiscations of large quantities of illegal massage cards, many continue to be found scattered across pavements, streets, and residential areas in certain neighborhoods.

Experts and authorities have urged parents to discuss these inappropriate cards with their children and explain why they should not pick them up.

Use the ‘Police Eye’ App

Dubai Police reiterated their appeal for the public to report any negative behaviors, such as distributing or posting promotional cards for massage services in public areas.

Individuals can call the toll-free number 901 or use the ‘Police Eye’ service available on the Dubai Police app.

“The goal is to prevent illegal activities that could endanger the safety and security of the community,” authorities emphasized.
