- Click on ‘Fines Inquiry and Payment.’
- Enter your plate number or license details to view any recorded violations.
- If violations are found, you can pay online using a debit or credit card.
- RTA Website:
- Go to the RTA website.
- Click on ‘Check Your Fines.’
- Enter your plate number or traffic file number to check for violations.
- Follow similar steps to review and pay fines.
Motorcycle Fine Structure
The fine amounts vary based on the type of violation. Notable penalties include:
- Riding Without a Helmet: Dh500 fine and 4 black points.
- Speeding Violations: Dh2,000 fine, 12 black points, and potential vehicle impoundment for 30 days for exceeding the speed limit by 60 km/h.
- Driving Below Minimum Speed Limit: Dh400 fine and 4 black points.
- Unauthorized Motorcade Participation: Dh500 fine, 4 black points, and vehicle impoundment for 15 days.
Additionally, a Dh10 knowledge fee and a Dh10 innovation fee are added for each recorded violation, which can accumulate based on the number of offenses.
