Qualifications

About You

  • High school certificate or similar
  • Minimum of 6-12 months previous experience in similar role, preferably in a 5-star hotel.
  • Basic Food Safety Certificate is a must.
  • Previous Beach Club Experience is desired.
  • Ability to Work in Beach Venue Conditions (Indoor & Outdoor)
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent people and customer experience skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills – additional language is advantage.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Positive attitude towards challenges with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work individually and as a part of team.
  • Quick learner with ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
  • Professional demeanor with polished appearance.

Other key responsibilities are:

Operational

  • Efficiently identify, inspect, and deliver completed orders to guests in accordance to the specifications of each ticket.
  • Perform final visual check of order before it leaves the kitchen or bar. Inform Chef or Manager of any incorrect food items before delivering to guest and confirms special requirements or allergies with Chef and with section holder before serving to customer.
  • Serves food and beverage at each table according to proper serving etiquette. Expedite orders in kitchen when necessary. Delivers food & beverage orders from Kitchen/Bar to customers tables promptly and faultlessly in a timely manner.
  • Provide professional and personalized service to the highest standard at the towel booths to exceed the customer`s expectations, while also observing proper hygiene.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar to include all equipment, plates, cutlery and service utensils.
  • Have a basic knowledge of items and be able to describe ingredients of each dish served.
  • Ensures within scope of responsibilities that all products and services are delivered to guests in accordance to hygiene and quality standards and on a timely manner.
  • Adheres to venue, company, hygiene, food safety, health & safety standards, policies and rules & regulations.
  • Follows brand standards, sequence of service and demonstrates basic knowledge of venue details, e.g.,facilities, policies, activations and product knowledge and can discuss with guests with confidence.
  • Reports any operational challenges to Captain / Supervisor / Assistant Outlet Manager.
  • Completes department specific checklists, daily tasks and responsibilities related to the department accurately and on a timely manner. Assists other team members and departments when required
  • Attends daily briefings and contributes to enable open communication within the team and management.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
