Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani previously served in diplomatic roles such as Prime Minister of Qatar from 2007 to 2013 and as Foreign Minister from 1992 to 2013.

He currently owns 3% of Deutsche Bank through an entity called Paramount Services Holdings.

2. Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani

   Net Worth: $1.9 Billion

Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani is the chairman of one of Qatar’s largest conglomerates, Al Faisal Holding.

Dubai: New Business Opportunities Visa for Investors Launched

Investors and entrepreneurs looking to explore business opportunities in the UAE can now apply for the ‘Business Opportunities Visa,’ as announced by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP).

This visa is tailored for those seeking investment prospects and allows for single or multiple entries into the country, depending on eligibility.

Introduced in 2022 as part of a revamped visa system, the Business Opportunities Visa offers flexible durations of two, three, or four months. Applicants can apply directly without needing a UAE-based sponsor.

Application Process

To apply, individuals can visit the ICP’s smart services portal or registered typing centers in the UAE. Required documents include:

• Valid passport copy
• Proof of address (rental contract or hotel reservation)
• Recent passport-sized photo
• Certified bank statement
• Health insurance coverage
• Attested qualification certificate
• Return ticket

Visa Fees

• 60 days: Total Dh1,555
• 90 days: Total Dh1,675
• 120 days: Total Dh1,795

Steps to Apply

1. Visit the ICP smart services portal.
2. Select ‘Exploring Business Opportunities.’
3. Choose your visa duration (60, 90, or 120 days).
4. Fill out the online application with personal and identification information.
5. Upload required documents and make the payment.

Applicants will receive a reference number for tracking their application. Refunds for fees are available only if the application is rejected.
