Your experience and skills:
- Must be able to tolerate vibration of hand tools
- Must be able to tolerate inclement, cold, and very warm environmental temperatures
- Must be able to withstand 20km/h winds while working in air ducts
- Must handle chlorine, acids, and caustics (protective gear is provided)
- Must have excellent balance for ladder climbing, standing on round structures such as the Air Handlin Unit (when adjusting overhead valves)
- Must be able to tolerate noisy machinery, air compressors, motors, very frequently

What you will be doing:
- The ability to Install and maintain seasonal plants
- The ability to Mow, trim and fertilize green spaces
- The ability to Mulch, edge and weed gardens
- The ability to Prune and trim trees and bushes
- The ability to Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery, like mowers, trimmers and leaf blowers
- The ability to Monitor and maintain the health of plants
- The ability to Deal with pest problems that could damage plants
- The ability to Plant and maintain healthy growth of trees, lawns, turf, shrubs, hedges, ground cover and other plants
- The ability to Coordinate gardening assignments with college activities
- The ability to Make minor repairs and adjustments to power equipment and tools commonly used in gardening and grounds maintenance
- The ability to Make minor repairs and adjustments to sprinkler systems
- The ability to Identify diseased plants and pest infestation and take proper corrective measures
- The ability to Observe and determine the need for fertilizers, soil amendments, and mineral additives
- The ability to Keep accurate records of the plant
- The ability to Write clear and concise instructions and reports
- The ability to participate in the employee performance review process
- The ability to directly supervise personnel in carrying out work schedules as well as spot-checking to verify quality and employee performance.
- The ability to ensure that the shift is always covered.
- The ability to ensure that the Preventive Maintenance Program is effective
- The ability to maintain spare parts store.
- The ability to ensure effective communication and good relations between the engineering department and other departments in the water park.
- The ability to prepare and follow through on any projects as outlined by senior management.
- The ability to ensure all engineering personnel are in uniform and well groomed.
- The ability to ensure timely completion of all assigned responsibilities
- The ability to assume the duties of the Duty Engineer in his absence.
- The ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Rixos Brand and encourage colleagues to do the same.
- The ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed.
- The ability to ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.
- The ability to attend and participate in all required meetings.
- The ability to respond properly in any water park emergency or life safety situation
- The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by water park management and staff
- The ability to assist in ensuring that effective preventive maintenance schedules are followed
- To regularly update the departmental Trainings Program and ensure that staff have worked through the program and have completed them
- To ensure that the Department staff comply with Health and Safety Regulations and that the work that is highlighted as a Health and Safety issue is attended to appropriately
Gardener:
This position ensure soil cultivation, digging, forking, mulching, watering, raking, weeding, edging, pruning, seed sowing, bed preparation and planting.
The use and maintenance of hand tools and basic light machinery. The use of cylinder and rotary mowers, strimmers, leaf blowers.
