Saudi Arabia Launches eVisa for GCC Expats: UAE Residents Can Apply Online

Dubai: Expatriates living in the UAE and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries can now apply for a one-year multiple-entry eVisa to Saudi Arabia.
This new visa option is ideal for those looking to travel for business, visit family, explore the region, or perform Umrah (excluding the Hajj season).

Applications can be made through Saudi Arabia’s unified visa platform, launched in 2023, at ksavisa.sa.
Visa Details
- Types Available: Single entry (90 days) and multiple entry (one year).
- Duration of Stay: Up to 90 days per visit.

Requirements for Applicants
- Valid residency document for at least three months.
- Passport must be valid for at least six months.
- Minimum age of 18 for applicants traveling alone.
Required Documents
- Passport photo with a white background.
- Copy of the passport.
- Copy of the UAE residence visa.
Application Process
- Visit ksavisa.sa and select ‘Visit’ under the tourism category.
- Enter travel details and select the visa type (single or multiple).
- Provide personal information and upload a passport-sized photo.
- Upload passport details and residency visa.
- Agree to terms and review the application.
- Select medical insurance and pay the application fee.

The eVisa costs around $81 (AED 297.48), with an additional application fee of $10.50 (AED 38.50). Medical insurance fees vary, ranging from $7.50 to $252.04, depending on the provider and coverage.
GCC residents can expect their visa to be issued instantly, but it may take up to three working days for processing.
